Bob is a California based attorney, accomplished General Counsel and seasoned real estate executive who brings over twenty-five years’ experience in legal strategy, business matters, corporate governance, and commercial real estate. Currently serving as General Counsel and Secretary for a multi-billion-dollar Western U.S. real estate investment company, he leads legal, compliance, and governance programs while overseeing transactions spanning acquisitions, financing, development, and leasing across five states. With expertise in forming and operating real estate investment entities and executing high-value transactions, Bob has driven several billion dollars in financings to support acquisitions and overall organizational growth.
Before his current role, Bob served as in house division counsel for a $3 billion California division of a Western U.S. commercial bank, where he advised executive teams on complex business and real estate finance and litigation matters, achieving significant cost reductions and risk mitigation. He also held leadership roles in private equity, managing acquisitions and development projects, and taught graduate-level courses in Business Law and Ethics.
Bob holds a Juris Doctor in Law, a Master of Arts in Business, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He is a licensed attorney and real estate broker in California and holds a Securities Certificate from Cornell Law School. A former U.S. Marine Corps Major and decorated helicopter pilot, Bob combines legal acumen with a disciplined, results-driven approach to leadership.
